International research group, funded by Research Council of Lithuania, is launching a scientific project Social responsibility of farmers in the provision of public goods and services: multi-criteria evaluation”.

The project aims at supplementing the corporate social responsibility (CSR) paradigm with agrarian discourse and developing a multi-criteria methodology for farmers’ CSR disclosure in the provision of public goods and services.

 

Project objectives include: theoretical analysis and generalization of the concepts of CSR and public goods and services, provided by farmers, and interconnection among them; systematization of research insights related to CSR disclosure and problems of agrarian sector in the provision of public goods and services; review of prospective CSR research methodologies and modification of them; development and validation of the methodology for farmers’ CSR disclosure in the provision of public goods and services, and its application for the research of Lithuanian farmers and Lithuanian rural policy decision-making.
